In dell laptop, i was getting issue with speaker, as soon as i start the laptop, it start popping sound and echo.
Solution -
1. Open control panel (run appwiz.cpl)
2. uninstall SmartBytes software
3. open sound settings / Manage Sound Devices.
4. disabled Stereo Mix and reboot laptop
Although, My problem was solved with above solution but if you have still issue then do some power management settings from this thread
